When and where do we meet

The next meeting of the Central Coast Woodworkers on 12 May at the Pioneer Museum at 7pm has been cancelled. Our next meeting will be 9 June.

During the week of January 18th 2021, Wayne finished and delivered 21 Thank You Plaques to the Toy Bank board for their 2020 Sponsors. Our group received one of these plaques as well as a Thank You note for our contributions to their program. Click Here for pictures.

Our Members Skills and Interests. Our Members have a wide variety of woodworking skills and interests. Some are beginners who started doing small projects after retirement; others have been doing woodworking during their entire working career. Some do single pieces of furniture up to an entire room of cabinets and tables. Other are experts with the lathe and make bowels and/or pens. Several members are experts with the scoll saw and /or band saw. Some make toys for the toy bank every year while others like to make musical instruments.

Our Approach. Because of the wide interest of our members, our approach is to invite speakers of general interest to woodworkers. We also have a period of time during each meeting where members can share information about their projects that have been completed or discuss wookworking problems. Our Association normally meets on the second Thursday of every month (except in December). The meetings begin at 7PM and typically last about 1 to 2 hours.

How to become a member. Our Second Vice President is our membership point of contact. Our dues are usually collected at our September meeting and cover the period from 1 September to 31 August. Of course you can join anytime and your dues will be prorated. First year is $35 and includes a name tag. Following years dues are $25. If your spouse would like to be a member the dues are $10. To join contact our Membership Vice President at our next meeting.
